after getting stuck a couple of times with bad checks I just changed my rules... no checks... cash or credit only when service is render or ordered, nowadays even a business on the road can run a credit card apt though on your phone! Have never had a problem since!

I also use social media and find it helps quite a bit plus I did bring in some local things from our town to attract other's in,( that normally wouldn't come in for just antiques) I sell local honey, local candles, local bird houses and other wooden craft,such as wine racks and garden signs , ...

I also use social media and find it helps quite a bit plus I did bring in some local things from our town to attract other's in,( that normally wouldn't come in for just antiques) I sell local honey, local candles, local bird houses and other wooden craft,such as wine racks and garden signs , and goat milk hand lotion and soap this seems to bring in a different crowd other than just antiquers and once they come in they usually find out that antiques are pretty cool and end up buying them and spreading the word, we play soft music and have excellent customer service so we have many repeat customers .
