My name is Elaine Wages and I love animals. Iam Connecticut born and raised, and currently reside in beautiful East Granby. I offer my services to you as an Animal Care Specialist.

I have over a decade of experience as an Assistant Veterinary Technician and in addition, have worked several years as a K-9 service technician at the nationally known Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation.

Over the past 20 years, I have been privileged to take advantage of many opportunities to not only rescue but own and train numerous animals in need. One example is a white, deaf boxer named Carmine. Based on his special need, I had to think of a way of how to apply training methods to his way of seeing the world. I proceeded to alter an existing method based on sound (clicker training) in order to accommodate his other senses. It worked. we were communicating.

I'm very passionate and compassionate to the lives and well being of our furry and feathered friends. With this desire, I have created my own business called, Wiggles "N" Whiskers Home Pet Care.
