A large amount of staff are still getting the same $17-25 wage they were offered in the early 00s. Artists and construction staff have had both supply budgets and build hours cut on many projects. The delusion that digital media is the same as person to person interaction has caused clients to lose touch with their perspective clients and customers. Even showing the statistics on multiple projects has yet to result in the ability to convince large companies into paying a properly increased raise to event staff.
