Cyn grew up in rural Perquimans County. After 25 years in Elizabeth City and the Outer Banks, she has returned to Perquimans County where she lives on the Perquimans River with her companion, Tony. Since acquiring her Real Estate License in 2000, Cyn has been heavily involved in Real Estate Sales in Northeastern North Carolina and Vacation Rentals on the Outer Banks. Community Service is very important to Cyn, she has served as Past-President and Board Member for the Museum of the Albemarle Board of Trustees, Girls Incorporated Board of Directors, Red Cross Board of Directors, Junior Woman's Club Board of Directors and was Chair Person for the re-birth of the Albemarle Potato Festival in May of 2001.
