As a Midwife, Doula and Massage Therapist as well as a Childbirth Educator, I believe that birth is a key life event that should be powerful, informed, and gentle. It is my hope to provide my clients with continuity of care throughout the childbearing year. I offer endless patience, and a family-friendly approach to pregnancy, labor, childbirth postpartum. Every woman should have access to the most up-to-date, evidence-based and scientific information during her childbearing years. This makes the Midwifery Model of Care and provision of Informed Consent a required approach for every client. It is my hope that Every homebirth should be a “Treasured Birth.”
I supported my first doula client shortly after I had my own first child 29 years ago. Since then, I have been helping expecting parents navigate through birth planning, labor, and birth. I was "called" to my profession many years ago, when I was very young myself. After calling, I created Treasured Birth, LLC, in 2007. My company continues to grow.
