I highly recommend getting involved in a Chamber of Commerce.  I am involved with a few Chambers and I have nothing but positive things to say.  Some of our largest customers have come from the Chamber of Commerce.  Aside from that, the connections I have made with the members have led to friendships.  It's also a great way to get involved in your community.
