As a small business considered to be essential, we are permitted to keep our doors open. With most of our client base consisting of other small businesses who have been forced to close, it doesn't make sense to remain open. Our equipment runs on so much electricity it's more economical to shut everything down and work remotely. Fortunately we have that option. We go in when absolutely necessary, but have a deminished work flow of nearly 90%. We will definitely not see all our typical seasonal work. Our landlord has agreed to accept half months rent and understands this will need to be on a month to month basis. Hopefully the next few weeks will show, if even on a small upswing, businesses beginning to open again. With each day behind us we are closer to this being behind us. Committed to pulling through this, I don't know that I'd have the stamina to do it again should we suffer another shutdown if the virus returns in the winter. Taking one day at a time.
