Hi Danielle; Here's a strategy that I have used. Conduct a search on LinkedIn to identify veterinarians (or any other target audience) that are a 2nd level contact. Once you see the results, instead of asking them to connect, simply view their profile and move on to the next name on the list and continue to view profiles WITHOUT sending connection requests. The idea is that many will reciprocate and view your profile (out of curiosity). That's when you hope that they will ask you to connect. Then you have a reason to engage them further by thanking them for the connection and then setting up a meeting.
