(more) We are adding a service that is related to our current business and is valuable to current clients.  That service is factory level scanning and calibrating of vehicle electronics and Automated Drive Assist Systems.  Very necessary for body shops, glass installers, front end alignments. This is necessary for customer safety and elimination of shop liability.  So far the learning curve is pretty steep, but the response has been good. Looking forward to this being a success on its own and to enhancing our paintless dent repair business.

  it would be good if government would leave social security alone.  It would be wonderful if it wasn’t used to buy votes.  But I think if we expect that will be the case we expect too much.      If you check out Supreme Court cases from 1937  (Helverlin vs. Davis) and 1960 (Fleming vs.... (more)   it would be good if government would leave social security alone.  It would be wonderful if it wasn’t used to buy votes.  But I think if we expect that will be the case we expect too much.      If you check out Supreme Court cases from 1937  (Helverlin vs. Davis) and 1960 (Fleming vs. Nestor), you will find that you have no contractual right to your social security.  It has never been an annuity and the court has said so.  It has always been at the whim of 535 lawmakers.  So we’ve had multiple rate increases, paying for all sorts of things not originally proposed, raising of income thresholds,  raising of retirement age, and proposed means testing.  It was a like a chain letter from the beginning      It’s too bad, but social security has always been a payroll tax on one end and a welfare program on the other. Government knew it and has represented it otherwise.  Just one more reason not to trust them.
