Despite the fact that we are not required to do so, we offer healthcare to our employees because it is the right thing to do. Universal healthcare ought to be the law of the land!

Who do you think pays for universal healthcare. wait until you pay 70% of your income to cover everyone's health care.

I just transitioned from private insurance to Medicare while still working and I find the complexities and time demands of me to process to be less than desirable. If I had a young family I'm not sure it would work at all.
With smoking, obesity and other treatable diseases causing the USA to spend the moist $ on health Care with lousy results--We pay far more for health care than any other country in the world, yet we have far worse outcomes than any other country in the world.--WHY NOT try something `else. Will Universal Health Care cost MORE than the 18% and rising of GDP we NOW spend? " ...
