About Us
We have been in business for 13 1/2 years in the commercial and residential roofing business. Our office is located in downtown Eureka in a 167-year-old log cabin. We specialize in residential & commercial roof replacements, repairs and commercial silicone roof coating. We will work with your insurance company & help you manage a loss. Inspections are free and come with a report & photos.
How We Got Started
After serving in the US Navy for 4 years aboard the USS Enterprise CVN-65 I worked in the laborers union for 10 years, then switched over to the carpenters union. When work was slow I worked for various insurance companies handling wind & hail claims. After 13 hurricanes and numerous wind storms I went to work as a contractor repairing insurance related claims. From that we evolved into starting up Eureka Contracting & Roofing.

That's just part of doing business. Typically we offer a free inspection, and give an estimate when needed. We get called to fix roofs from the cheaper contractors occasionally. Our company is not the highest, nor are we the lowest, we are usually the high end of the medium and comfortable there.

Eureka chamber just wrapped up our Scarecrow Festival. We put out over 200 scarecrows in front of all the business's and around town in general for the month of October. Every time you would go through town people were seen looking them, photographing, taking selfies galore and were talking...

Not sure if this qualifies as a holiday stroll, but most of our local business's thought this event helped.
We have a pretty good ROI on our printed ads. It's the repetitive recognition/branding that helps get our name out there. It is not as profitable as some of the online marketing, but a combination of both have proven profitable for Eureka Contracting & Roofing.
