How We Got Started

A consulting agency centered around the social impact concept of blended value that holds that the value of an organization for profit or not is determined by how it benefits its own unique combination of society, the economy and/or the environment has been a dream of Lisa Carter since 2007 when she learned of it.

She was encouraged by Jed Emerson the thought leader who originated the concept to do it but she waited until the time was right and some health issues were behind her to launch it with DH Robin a digital marketing expert whose skill set dovetailed with Lisa’s marketing expertise for a combination firm.

But, initial feedback was that it was too much to remember that we did both things. So we pivoted to just marketing for four years and then due to demand re-added consulting for startups and companies forging new growth. Software/mobile app development and printing were added via strategic partnerships. And, voila you have the Total Empowerment Suite or a la carte services

I am getting to know some people via Smart Connects and having meetings with them, mostly because they would make great white label partners for our More-Than-Marketing services including full service marketing, consulting ancillary to the marketing (the services they don't realize they need until they start marketing, such as sales funnels and fulfillments blockages, software/mobile app and print and related promotional solutions. I am using my :Connection requests to try to find referral partners. But it is a little awkward for me and I wonder if you have any suggestions as to how to best approach a potential referral partner?
