How We Got Started
My Great Grandfather, Myers Cooper started the lumber company in 1902. My time at the helm has been from 1980 until 2020. My son, Mills Judy III has been running the company since September of 2020 and doing a fabulous job. My daughter, Lindsey has been working in the office for many years and between the both of them I think the 5th generation will do just fine.
In 1999 we moved from Birch Ave., which was a dead end residential street to Red Bank Rd. This move was a home run for HPL.
