From the very beginning of my career as a dimensional designer, I’ve believed there’s no better way to design—and communicate—than through physical models. We still use sketches, renderings, CAD drawings, and fly-throughs… but nothing tells the story quite like something you can see and hold. It brings the vision to life in a way clients immediately understand. Many times, I’ll start with a simple white model—pure form, no distractions. And in some cases, that alone is enough to win the project.
