Denizen’s story began over 40 years ago as Dallas Sight & Sound, one of the first technology integration firms in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Known for high-performance audio and custom theaters, we grew into a trusted partner for home automation, lighting, shading, and security.

In 2021, Dallas Sight & Sound was acquired by Echo Systems, a nationally recognized integration firm based in Omaha. Following that acquisition, Echo Systems rebranded all of its locations — Omaha, Kansas City, Dallas, and now Austin — under one unified name: Denizen. This transition allowed us to combine our deep local roots with the strength and resources of a larger organization, while still maintaining the personal service and craftsmanship that built our reputation.
