It all began when I was working as an upholstery seamstress and learned about the skilled trade of carpet binding. Once I saw the power that a carpet binding machine held, not just in sewing through carpet, but in creating infinite possibilities for rug fabrication, rug repairs, remnant re-purposing, etc. I knew that I had to learn it and then share the craft with my community to help them save money, reduce material waste, and solve their unique flooring problems.
