Youth Recreational Basketball, Volleyball & Bowling
The Sports of All Sorts Youth Association was formed in April of 2004 to enhance the offerings of Sports of All Sorts. It offers youth programming for youth from four years of age to 18 years of age and adult programming from 19 years of age and older. These programs begin with the introduction to the sport through the “Learn to Play Programs” at the youngest level and include a recreational and competitive track for children as they grow into adulthood. It is a goal of ur o Youth Association to provide a clean, safe and healthy place in which parents may bring their children, as young as four year olds, and provide a place for them to play, either strictly for fun in the recreational program or competitively in our leagues or tournaments through their adult years.
Our coaches and assistant coaches are volunteers that work hard to educate your child in understanding the rules, learn skills and tactics of the sport, and at all times to be mindful of the importance to have fun. heT
Association Youth works with state and national organizations in order to provide the latest in education to our coaches. Player and Coaching Clinics are offered throughout the year. One of the goals of the outh Y Association is to maintain high standards for those that participate. Love and respect for the game & for those that are participating in the game are keys. Accountability accurately describes what we expect of coaches and players. Our coaches and players serve as Role Models for the younger participants in our program. When these younger children emulate the actions of the Coach or older players, we want those actions to reflect positively on the rogram p and our participants. e W want to be your place for FUN, FITNESS and FELLOWSHIP Our Mission We are an organization focused on child development through sport activities. Our goal is for each child to reach their fullest potential as a person as well as an athlete. We focus on player development through teaching technique, the rules of the sport, sportsmanship, all in a positive environment that builds self-esteem, and confidence.
