Brand And Vision: An organization’s DNA is comprised of its calling, core beliefs and culture. These are what inform each component of the organization and live through each person that help make up the organizational whole. The John Maxwell team has been infused with a DNA that finds its origin in the life and leadership philosophy of our founder, Dr. John C. Maxwell. That philosophy creates the foundational framework for our DNA. That philosophy has been put into an organizational framework by Paul Martinelli. Our DNA is reflected in our calling, core beliefs and culture.
Our calling is to “Add value to people all over the world.”
Our core beliefs center around the one core truth that “Leadership is influence, nothing more, nothing less.” Thus, the model, method and approach for all we do is built upon our desire to influence others effectively. Each Maxwell Method is a method to use leadership, speaking, coaching, training or sales to influence others in a manner that adds value.
Our culture is articulated in what we call our Culture Values. These 10 values, taught and modeled by John Maxwell, articulate the common DNA of the John Maxwell Team member as reflected in their daily life and leadership. These values inform our policies, procedures, activities, interaction with one another, represent our brand and the way we contribute to our community. Annual awards are given to 10 deserving individuals who are shining examples of each of the culture values.
Together, our calling, core beliefs and culture instructs, informs and inspires the life of our organization, helping us to nurture an environment of servant leadership, growth and mutual benefit which has led us to become the largest leadership training organization in the world. While we come from different cultures, life backgrounds, ethnicities and leadership settings, the one thing we share and that binds us together is our JMT DNA and Culture. We are a family of elite coaches, teachers, speakers, leaders and professionals, taking our training, talents, and skills and adding value to people all over the world.
In summary, our DNA and Culture is our “being”. Our life and business of leading, speaking, coaching and training is our “doing”. At the John Maxwell team, we endeavor to “Be good at what we do and great who we are.”
iEmerge has grown out of my life long desire to be of service to others. That service almost always propelled me to a leadership position. I realized that I needed a mentor and a well structured, systematic approach to enhance my leadership performance. I began to look for forerunners in the leadership arena. I was led to the John Maxwell Team because of the Biblical principals on which John Maxwell has based his life and life's work. The Maxwell Method is one that embodies ethical and moral standards that have been the bedrock of many organizations and individuals reformation. I offer this to you by way of several programs that will be uniquely chosen and suited to you and/or your organization. How will you get started or how will you grow from here?
