Dana Todd
Balodana
Balodana got its start in 2018, offering women's custom-tailored clothing from independent designers around the world. After 6 years we pivoted to offering custom manufacturing services to other companies, using what we've learned about body data and better fit, as well as partnering with factories who specialize in on-demand and smaller batches. We are based in Chicago and our primary factory partners are in India. We have been featured in Wall Street Journal, NBC, Fox, podcasts, and print media. We are alumni of 1871 and P33 startup incubators.
Our founder Dana Todd was frustrated with trying to find quality clothing that fit her "imperfect" body. So, she built her own personal supply chain, curating partners worldwide applying skills and technology to help cut down on the waste caused by overproduction and poor body fit.
