About Us

The Coast KOZT-FM is located in Mendocino County California. Please check us out at kozt.com. Our format is adult rock, blues, jazz and folk. A Commercial station which is very community minded. We excel at helping our local businesses attain new customers and help keep them top of mind with current customers. Contact Vicky if you'd like to discuss advertising.

How We Got Started

At the time when big broadcast corporations were making big conglomerations Tom decided he didn't like that they were making it all about the money. Asked Vicky if they could buy their own station and continue to make great radio. She said yes, but had to be near the ocean and that they could afford it. We ended up on the Mendocino Coast and have the most listened to station in the county.

Yes, it gets my name in front of them and station name and logo... even if they throw it away it's been there. Hopefully, they don't. And when I call on them with what we had talked about they may have it and will update their contact list. I'm afraid that I can't help with that. I own a radio station. Maybe they should start on Public Access television? (more) I'm afraid that I can't help with that. I own a radio station. Maybe they should start on Public Access television?
