Our Finally Home Family Strengthening Events offer foster and adoptive families a place to receive research based, psycho-educational marriage enrichment, parenting and family strengthening training. Families leave encouraged and equipped with communication tools that will enrich their marriage and family. They will come away with the knowledge of resources that are available to them in their community that will expand their net of support. While parents are participating in this engaging event, their children participate in a Super-Hero Academy program, which is specifically designed for at risk children and youth. The Super- Hero Academy program communicates that “super powers” are qualities like integrity, honesty, and kindness. The children will experience a fun-filled day led by volunteers and specialists.
