My name is Jennifer Meyer, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) practicing in Fort Collins, Colorado. I work with clients from Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor, Timnath, Severance, Wellington, Eaton (all of Northern Colorado), and southern Wyoming, as well as clients from other locations via virtual/video telehealth sessions.
If life has become increasingly difficult, if your relationships are strained and painful, or if you’re simply looking for help achieving the best version of yourself, your professional life, or your relationships, you are in the right place.
I employ an integrated approach to counseling, incorporating many different facets of my clients’ lives into therapy, particularly body, mind, emotion, and spirit. My approach is respectful of all individuals, cultures, genders and gender identities, sexual and romantic orientation, and religion/spirituality. I provide an understanding, judgment-free zone where you will be encouraged to express your REAL self openly and vulnerably.
I feel so lucky to have found my true and passionate calling in being a therapist, and I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you through this process. I am passionate about what I do, and it shows in the way I work and the progress my clients make. I believe wholeheartedly in helping people heal so that they can find peace in life and become the most whole, powerful versions of themselves.
In my early thirties, I returned to school for my master’s in counseling after some painful life events (including divorce) created a cascade of changes in my life. I knew I wanted to heal first and then help others in a deeper way. I had some very wise healers along my journey, and I knew that I wanted to pay that forward. I believe that if we remain open to seeing the lessons in painful experiences, they lead to an incredible amount of strength and growth.
