I write this as a guy who has taken at least ten ballroom dance classes. I really want to be someone who can dance; someone who can get up at a wedding or anywhere there is dancing and really cut a rug. But I still struggle, the in-person classes are awkward and embarrassing. I think learning online would work well, for me and most men. I think most men are like me, shy and unwilling to take a chance of being embarrassed every week at dance class. (Always twice as many women as men at a class.) Anyway, Joshua Altman in his post is right, don't give away your awesome knowledge, skill and experience for free online, use the internet to drive people to your private, paid, online classes. We men can mostly afford to pay, we just can't afford to be embarrassed. Good luck to you, keep dancing.

We are on the roster of Pro Bono Alberta and get referrals from them when anyone contacts them about availability of lawyers willing to do pro bono work in their area. The truth is that most lawyers do pro bono work, some do a lot, as ot is part of our Code to provide this type of service.

We do this work every day, after having gone the school for about 6 years in all to learn what they are doing. What I tell potential clients regarding Wills is that lawyers did not invent Wills, truth is if no one had a Will lawyers would be very pleased, as every death could create an expensive time-consuming law suit as potential beneficiaries fought over the estate. Same result from a poorly prepared Will. If what lawyers do could be replaced with papers on a shelf in a store, that would have happened a long time ago, and us lawyers would have moved on to doing other work. Finally, we have insurance, we can be sued if we mess up your Will. Who is going to cover the mistakes when a person does their own Will? I have seen a lot of Wills prepared without legal assistance, and everyone single one of them has serious problems, that is why I am seeing the Will as the executor or a beneficiary has brought it to me because there is a problem. Ask a plumber how they feel about people doing there own plumbing work. Answer: We love it, we make way more money coming in when the homeowner makes things worse and has the leak at 2:00 am in the morning.

A person looking for this type of service should get recommendations about specific lawyers that do the type of work required, in this case business contracts, and then meet with that lawyer to see if it will be a good fit.
