The biggest bang for our buck seems to be pro bono events for worthy causes. By participating in service while serving as guest speaker or emcee, we have the chance to feature our skills with others who see the value of our work - all in the context of genuinely serving our community.
A network of friends, primarily in our local church, who gave me advice and referrals. We then contacted those people to ask their needs and share our expertise. Slowly things built up over about 12 years. We moved to full time pursuit of our business in Oct 2017. So far, so good
