When is the best time to go to networking meetings: mornings, lunch time, or afternoons?

Meetings? I meet the neighbors' dogs usually early morning for dog biscuits on way to the studio, my cats around then too (that's the only traffic encountered on way to studio) and the studio squirrels may drop by anytime in the day but it only costs me peanuts.
