On Tuesday I was the only guy asked to speak at an event for International Women's Day and I was humbled and honored to receive an award. I've fought for women's rights since I was a young female athlete prior to transition. I always will until the day all women reach full equality and equity.

I remember when I announced transition some women friends thinking I was deserting them. Never!
