I still struggle gaining new clients after moving to FL a couple years ago. A lot of people still do not see the value of using an agent instead of the risky online bookings. I have established connections in the industry that benefit and enhance their vacations. Personally I do not charge a fee unless it is a large group traveling together. So it really does not cost any more to use a travel agent.

I think your looking at this all wrong I have been doing great even in economic downturn...this is the time to take advantage of tax write offs that will will increase your wealth... Donate to charitable nonprofits or create your own to see your wealth increase rather than decrease...I have found that the more i give away the greater our wealth increases in my family

It's getting harder and harder to find new customers.  In fact, I'm often challemged to continually decrease my rates to attract potential clients.  This may be unique to the photography industry but I feel it's bigger than that and possibly tied to the political changes in the US.

Business is great and we meet our goals pretty consistantly for a small nitch auto service shop and I have the pleasure of having great people that trust us with their cars, still do work for my very first cust thats been with us for 8 years since opening day. God blessed us with our business and hopefully our health also!

Our group has a lot of new members this year which is fantastic.  I keep it all running pretty much solo and have increasing demands in my own business that are not related to this group so I am feeling like I need to pull back more from leading this organization.  It has been a challenge to find volunteers to take on the work that I do.  (This is not a for profit business but rather a club/group so the circumstances are a bit different than most alignable members )  

My business is pretty much where I want it to be, pretty much. I have had a hard 15 or so months (MS) and it gets in the way of making and selling both.  Still, my loyal customers come back and my new customers continue to return... I just have very limited energy.

While all the news stories (some #fakenews) about deaths and such in Dominican Republic have caused many to fear travel outside the country.... we have been faced with numerous deaths INSIDE the USA.     Death is everywhere... and a part of life.      When you allow fear to keep you from enjoying life to the fullest... you are already dead.
