Does anyone have an uplifting story about Montclair?
With all the negative news, I'd love to hear positive stories or shout-outs about people or business owners who've risen to the challenge or gone above and beyond for others.

Montclair is my second home: graduate of Montclair State University, current private psychotherapy practices in Montclair and an interim pastor for two years at Union Baptist Church, Montclair. Between the wonderful work to Undo Racism (Monthly meetings and reading groups) and the interfaith efforts to end gun violence. Montclair offers a constant hope for a better world.
Offering free sessions to MD's nurses and other first responders. Proud to be part of the solution.

A collective of realtors across all agencies are collecting and distributing much needed healthy snacks to workers at East Orange Hospital. Feels great to be doing something for others who are putting themselves at risk everyday!
Hi, I have been a Montclair resident for the past 30 years. I love living in Montclair and enjoy the cultural diversity. As a single Christian woman, by the grace of God, my son had a great experience and education in Montclair. He was privileged to play football 🏈, he also served as one of the 2000 class team captain and was rated #8 in NJ and top 250 in the country! My son was called “the great 8” by the Montclair times. In 2001, he received a full football scholarship and attended Lehigh University PA where he played and won 3 Patriot Football League championships (2001, 2002, 2004). I believe, my son’s accomplishments were because of the great foundations he received from the Montclair community coupled by the godly values I taught him and God’s grace. Good news is that he married his high school sophomore sweetheart, who also grew up in Montclair and I am a happy blessed grandmother of two handsome and loving grandsons (3yrs & 1yr). Lastly, I am a former member of the Union Baptist Church in Montclair, I serve as the Interfaith Protestant Chaplin at Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center for the past 4yrs. I am so proud of my fellow teammates who are giving their BEST during these difficult times. For such a time like this, it is only by the grace of God and His power that we all find strength believing morning by morning new mercies we see. It is those mercies that enable me to comfort, teammates and families with words of encouragement and tears assuring them that they are not alone, we’re all in this together, and this too shall pass! I love Montclair and the community I serve, but most importantly, I love the Lord❤️God is with us always🙏🏽
hi - we have lots going on and growing on @MontclairCommunityfarms. We’re working in the greenhouse at Van Vleck where were growing seedlings for our farms. Well also donate some to other community gardens, individuals and families in need and sell some too. #victorygarden2020
