Wow, grazie ragazza Kimberlee! Das ist nett! My last novel "Florida Sunburn" is about Baltimore mechanic, MMA fighter, and genuine Renaissance-man Jude Layden, at the edge of financial and marital collapse, accepting a mysterious offer to sell his family heirloom, a '57 Chevy Bel Air, to a wealthy Miami Latino financiere. All is not as it seems, and just as Jude throws off the last of his final mental caution and allows himself the desperate reaching for the "solution" to end his problems, a Commandment is broken. Realizing fully the carnage Jude has thusly wrought, and coming back from that soul-devastating experience, serves him but one and only one Option to accept. The Question he must give himself the courage to face -- as we all do at some point in life -- and thusly answer, perhaps even through unmitigated yet temporal suffering in both mind and body, will depend and pinpont entirely and exactly on 'what' the mortal Jude truly believes and has faith in. [The story takes place during the Summer of 2014, with much social commentary through developing dialogs and bantering regarding the nascent delivery of Hillary Clinton as a female presidential candidate, the burgeoning and crushing woke-culture, racial & religious discrimination, and the needed renewal of focus on purpose in life for a post-modern man being squelched by the rampant feminization of Western Civilization.]

Missed by a day. This is book 3 in the Mariposa Cafe Mystery series. I'm almost finished with book 4.  Here's a link and blurb.

DECEPTION IN MARIPOSA BEACH

Welcome back to Mariposa Beach for the third book in the Mariposa Café Mystery Series, where it’s all about fun Florida mysteries featuring fearless, female sleuths.

There’s a new, big-time New York City director in town–Jerry Mann–but whether or not he’ll live to see opening night of the play he’s there to direct isn’t a guarantee. With several new crimes to solve that appear to have followed Mr. Mann to Mariposa Beach, Libby Marshall, a former prosecutor, and her super-hot detective boyfriend, Jack Seiler, will need all the help they can get from the quirky crew and patrons of the Mariposa Café.

But, this time, it’s more than a little personal for Libby. Her Aunt Julia appears to have a mysterious past with Jerry Mann, and it’s looking like a past that will have a major impact on Libby’s future.

The Mariposa Café Mysteries are Friends
meets Miami Vice.

Forgive my tardiness, I was flying yesterday (in a plane!).

I have 7 books published, 2 traditionally and 5 self-published. The book I wish to to promote is, But You Don't Look Like Me! A Tale of Kindness and  Friendship.

Owlivia is a new owl in the neighborhood.. She is lonely and tries to make friends with a group of Burrowing Owls., They refuse because she looks different. Owlivia demonstrates kindness and bravery and the owls are happy to have her as a friend. The story is a tale of friendship that prevails even when individuals look different. Resources for teachers, parents, and children about empathy, kindness, and friendship are included at the end of the book.

The book is available on https://www.amazon.com/But-You....
