Running your own business comes with many challenges. The trick is whether those challenges stay the same or morph into something new. The two biggest challenges for any business owner (after start up) is remaining a visionary, even though the targets keep changing, and making decisions that will ultimately mold your growth or path. As a business owner that runs as well as manages, I have to keep the energy levels up and must constantly work against burn out, which is easy to do when the hours are long. Ultimately the biggest challenge is maintaining growth in the constantly changing dynamic of business.

As an Etsy shop owner, my biggest challenge is promoting my jewelry; getting my products out in social media for all to see. But I am confident and optimistic that once people see my work, they will become potential customers, and once they are customers, do everything I can to make professional products.

Finding outside sales persons that are willing to learn the tried and true instructions given during the probationary period during orientation and teaching by sales management. A lot of new people are unwilling to change from the myths and the fact that they were taught differently from their previous employment.

The biggest challange for me is to reach the decision maker at any potential company I am trying to convince to integrate our Bio-Based toners. As a business owner, my biggest challenge is dependable workers. When you own a business, you are dedicated to it and have a passion for its mission. However, finding someone with the skills and dedication needed to help move the business forward is a challenge; particularly when you have a small to no budget for staffing.

If you are going to move in 12 to 18 months, I would say don’ t bother. The ROI is not there. Actually a business owner has a better ROI because they can deprecate the asset. Yes both residential and commercial get the 30% ITC from the Fed’s.the cost of electricity will continue to rise, Solar is merely an insurance policy against inflation. All it need is one utility bill and I can give anyone a quote via email. I’ve been doing this for six years and no pressure doing business with [email address]
