Having been a small business owner - what worked for me was building relationships with my customers by gaining there trust and providing service above and beyond- bottom line always make them “look good”
Integrity and grit. The first part of my business model is INTEGRITY: Doing the right thing to the best of my ability for my clients, colleagues, industry professionals, and community. The second part of my business model is GRIT: Championing issues that make a transaction advantageous for my client, fair to my colleagues and industry professionals, and community friendly. As both a Loan Officer and Realtor, I need to assure colleagues and industry professionals that their client is safe with me. Their real estate client remains their client if I am their Loan Officer and vise versa. It is my pledge.
As a small business owner I try to do more than what the competition would do. For example, when a family is on vacation for a week or more and I know they are tired and just want to get home, I ask if they want to order take out and on the way home we pick it up. Same goes for the milk and bread that way they can just stay home when they get in. Your not going to get that with a corporate limo company. (unless you pay for it).
Sometimes needs are not as simple as a ride to the airport. People are very busy today so my business offers medical appointment transportation to families that are stuck at work and need their parents to go to the doctors. I do that type of transportation as well.
Each reservation or quote is handled by me. I see everyone and if there are question, I call. Being a woman owned business I think the compassion is there and I desire my company to grow on reputation not on dollars!
Provide your customers with honesty, integrity and do your best to give them the best service you can possibly give. For the most part EVERY business is the same whether you're selling shoes or horses the ONLY difference you can offer is your service. So when you're asked to perform a service do your very best and then you and your customer will never have to wonder if they got what they paid for
Engage your customers and provide an outstanding experience every time. Because we have a brick and mortar store, we can actually ask our regular customers their opinions on our current product lines and their suggestions or thoughts about items we are thinking about adding. They are excited to participate and we can invest knowing that we continue to offer products and services they want. Making them feel like part of the family has worked for us and we have grown our business with an abundance of referrals as a result.
Now days it's super important to have a relationship marketing strategy...believe it or not, desirability comes from the value you place on your business relationships. Let's face it, competition is always nipping at our heals trying to grab up our customers at any given time. So generally the service or the price of product is not the reason why most companies will lose great clients. It's whether they felt like you valued them as a customer, if they know you cared and they felt appreciated. The clients with whom you build a relationship with from the beginning will stay loyal to your brand :-)
Our program is unique as we can train in the home since many who are in our organization have a broad range of disabilities that may prevent driving, leaving the house, medical issues and other challenges. We also have a wonderful training area similar to an agility course which we refer to as RECESS FOR DOGS available to our clients.
Running a fine art online studio requires the same if not greater need than any business. You must get exposure which means eyeballs, on what you offer. Social media, some advertising and word of mouth must all be factored into the mix. As a matter of fact this response might interest one of you to visit my site not necessarily to buy, but to note what’s there and share with others who have compatible interest. Talk may be cheap but it is the best form of promotion. Some old friends were once strangers until we shared interests enough to find a common ground.

First, always strive to give our customers the best value (not cheap rates), be there for them at any time.
Second, always looking for Good customers.
Third, define what is your definition of a Good customer.
Fourth, invest in cloud technologies to help our business serve the Millennial work force.

1.Keep what works and discard what does not.
2. Allow more input from employees
3. Repeat your story of success and tell the new stories of success.
4. Value can be in the product and the staff so protect both.
5. Be relative while respecting your History
