Business Card Scanning App
Hello, I am sure many of you are flooded with business cards. I am hoping that some of you have developed a system to capture the contact information in a secure and reliable system.
I am seeking help in identifying the best business card scanning app that has direct integration with Google, Outlook and/or Salesforce.

I have used an app called ScanBizCards for several years. It is so nice to be able to snap a photo when attending an event and then sending the cards off to the app for live transcription. They offer real live people to read and transcribe the cards. I highly recommend it. https://www.scanbizcards.com/
Snap a photo of any business card, and the app will automatically crop the image down to the relevant text, format it for legibility. Then you can save it to Onenote or any folder within OneDrive.
You can search for text contained in the scanned business card, initiate a call to the number recognized, find their address on a map or open the attached VCF file to save their contact details to Outlook or your phone’s contact list.

Great suggestions here - didn't realize there were so many different b-card scanning solution options available in the market. Some much business is done online, that I would expect that business cards will gradually be less used as time goes on.
The trend for scanning biz cards, forms, etc. is by using Robotic Process Automation (RPA_ combined with Artificial Intelligence (AI). Because of this enormous demand, Google just inked a partnership two weeks ago with RPA vendor, Automation Anywhere, combing RPA with Google AI Vision / Google Cloud https://cloud.google.com/press...
I believe Salesforce has an app add-on for just that. Most CRMs do.

I use HubSpot's built-in business card scanner.
I use the Microsoft Lens app to scan my biz cards, into Outlook contact list

There's some good free options, but if you don't mind paying a little for a better product, Contacts+ (https://www.contactsplus.com/) has one big advantage. A human being actually checks the transcription, since one error makes an email address useless otherwise. Avoiding one automated transcription error for a key accounts makes a lot of difference.
