Can anyone here recommend a great home or trade shows where I can display my product line?

the annual home and garden show is coming up at the George R Brown center.

we have had limited success at these shows primarily due to two things .

often times the customers that come too these shows are not in the market for our particular product "ac and heating systems" at the time and or are from out of town and not in our service area

we really did a bad job of following up with the customers whose info we did receive

Hi Sam, thank you for your insight. I definitely agree that every venue, no matter how large, will not work for every type of product or service. And I will duly note about following up. It's the most crucial reason to do shows, to get leads. If not for leads, it's a lot of work and effort gone wasted. Thanks.

We usually do the Home Show at Gold's Gym in April, it's hit or miss for us. Some years we get some great traffic (usually on Sat & Sun) and some years we get a lot of tire kickers (mostly Thurs & Friday). Depending on the type of products you're talking about , the Fine Home Source Show is nice. That one is in Millbrook and we always get good leads there. It's run by Crisp Architects if you want to reach out for information. That one is towards the end of September.

Not information on your product. We have home and garden shows in Phoenix area about 3 times a year. Is your product for new homes or retrofit...Bill

Hi William, thank you for your input. We sell exterior bifold doors for new construction and remodel. I am looking at home shows as a venue to sell directly to consumers and to get trade clientele as well. I am always looking for a contractor I can refer our direct customers to for installation. Are the home and garden shows produced by the same company? Phoenix is definitely a market that I feel would be a perfect market for our products. Thanks in advance. Tom

We found that the Vernon & Salmon Arm shows were too small, but the Kamloops Show was a good size.

Hi Janice, I am definitely looking for both customers and dealers in the New York area and would appreciate your recommendation regarding which Home Shows would help to target market. I am especially interested in developing trade relationships with dealers as we do get direct inquiries from customers interested in our systems, but as we are manufacturers only, it would be great to be connected to licensed installers that I could refer customers, to create a mutually beneficial relationship, which is what I seek with our community here.
