How are other personal trainers and nutrition coaches finding new clients?
Can anyone recommend the most effective way to reach people who are interested in In-Home personal training/nutrition coaching?

Hi Hanna-
I find new clients through social media in addition to traditional face to face networking. I use Linked In, Twitter & FB to post recipes, programs I'm doing, media/TV segments and articles I've been quoted in. If I meet or have friends that are in the medical field, I tell them what I do (and which patients/clients would be appropriate to refer to me). I also keep my web site blog fresh with regular posts (recipes, rants, news articles) to stay current in my field.
Best of luck in 2020!

Attraction marketing is the way to go today. Word of mouth helps, but if you really want to grow, you can’t ignore the power of social media. Our team is made of dozens of health coaches and we actually started a new free training with them in mind, if you’re interested in checking it out. It teaches you how to brand yourself, niche down and attract your ideal prospects with valuable content. Health and wellness is a very crowded space and learning these strategies will help you increase your reach. I’d be more than happy to share more details about this excellent training.
Hi! Many of my clients find me through Yelp or online searches for rehab based Pilates. My niche is Somatic Muscle releases and rehab style exercises for reconditioning and creating balance. Do you have a specialty or something specific that you want to focus on? Or a particular style of nutrition you want to focus on? I find that the more specific you are the easier your clients can find you. Especially if they are doing online searches, if you use your specific focus in your online descriptions then those key words line up with their searches. I’d be interested in hearing more about your nutrition styles and views because I don’t work in that field (other than swearing by Turmeric lol) and I have clients that have asked about specific types of nutrition styles (ie:Keto/paleo/HFLC/LFHC/Vegan/Pegan and every combo in between) and I’d love to have someone to refer them too!
Ask your inner circle for referrals. Your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors and social media followers. Be up front and let them all know you are looking to take a few new clients and would appreciate any help they can offer.
Then deliver amazing results because that will produce more referrals.
Word of mouth :-)
I find besides referrals, social media works well.
I train a few clients in home. I’m more than happy to help. My phone number is (919)741-9715. Have a wonderful day.
I ask for referrals. I also have a FB group that give people a chance to get to know me before they buy.
I still think the best way of finding new clients is “word of mouth” and personal referrals. Generally when someone refers a new client it is because they have been happy with the results they achieved by following your guidance. Often the people will be of like mind and you will be able to work well with them as clients...
I have had the best results with Thumbtack. It's not free, but it has lead me to most of my clients. It's the only platform that has consistently led me to clients over the years.
