Treating each patient as a human and not just a number that walked into your clinic.
As a doctor you can learn a lot from a patient just by listening to them
By providing the best service possible.
Hard question to answer as it varies by location. In NYC, I sent birthday cards and had an ad in a local newspaper I owned at the time. I NEVER did, and still do not do health care classes, street fairs, or other mass health fairs as the patients that they brought in were rarely loyal patients. I do not participate insurance, but make my fee affordable. I cultivate and maintain patients by providing good honest personality, great chiropractic care, and a gentle non-sale approach to our services. My present practice is a totally word of mouth practice out of my house. Hope that helps
starts with day 1, find out what their goals are (symptom vs corrective) explain the difference. getting rid of pain or getting rid of the cause of the symptom that brought them in. then educate with each visit give them the why. just 1 point of info per visit, don't overwhelm them.
Provide excellent patient care whether in my office or by referring them to get the care they need at other offices. Also, we ask for testimonials, referrals and stay in contact with our database each week.
Be truthful to patients
I treat them like valuable human beings, don’t run them through a high volume feed lot, and talk to them a lot about their goals.
Always educate the TIC!
Treat them like family and show them the value of Chiropractic and its impact on their health
