Who Should Be Your Local Business Person Of 2021?
Reflecting on the past 10 months, who are the business owners who've helped you or your community the most during the COVID Era? We'd like to give them some extra recognition for going above and beyond for other businesses during such a challenging time!
We've reprised our popular annual search for the most supportive, helpful business owners across North America: Alignable's 2021 Local Business Person Of The Year Contest.
Give your peers who were really there for you the kudos they deserve by voting for them now. It's fast, easy, and will likely make you and your favorite peer(s) feel really good.
All you have to do is visit your peer's profile & click the "Vote Here" button.
If you're new to Alignable, here's how you find the profiles of your favorite peers.
Step 1: Find your Search Box on the top left corner of this page and type in the business name for the person you want to honor:
Step 2: Scroll to the businesses listing & click on it:
Step 3: Search results will appear. Find your peer's business and click on his or her name in bold:
Step 4: You've arrived at your peer's profile. In the top right corner, find the contest promo and click on the "Vote Here" button.
Optional Step 5: Want to explain why your peer is so awesome? Then please type it into the text box and hit the "Share now" button. HINT: This recommendation could go a long way in this competition.

You can repeat the process up to 4 more times, if there are other peers on Alignable whom you want to recognize. Every Alignable member has a total of 5 chances to vote. (Voting Deadline is February 5, 2021).

It is so important that we stay strong together as a community during the Covid Crisis by supporting and recognizing each other businesses.
Dealing with the pandemic has been overwhelming. I direct all banquets and catering. Covid destroyed the wedding business... We reached out to the hospital and several manufacturers, plus curbside service to make it thru... also housed several frontline workers in hotel at a discounted rate- to help those who were ill... Dripped off many dinners to the elderly on thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Fed 220 hospital workers Christmas Day...

I learned about this contest through a friend. Good luck to all. I think 2020 was a great time to reconnect and come together as a community. I provided free COVID related HR advice to business owners through the month of March and April last year.
