Absolutely! Hypnosis helps to get past critical thinking and go straight to your subconscious mind. Everything we acquire in our lives is through our subconscious minds. All our good, unneeded (limited) beliefs and values are stored in the subconscious mind. Most people have limited beliefs or values that don't serve them any good, but they can't do anything about it because they are stuck in their subconscious minds. Hypnosis and NLP (Nero Linguistic Programming) helps to release or change our limited beliefs and information that do not serve us anymore by reprogramming the subconscious mind.

True Believer! Hypnosis is an affective way to dig deep into the subconscious mind by reaching the source of where any given' negative problem, feeling may have originated. Once the source is identified it is up to us to work at changing old beliefs, old patterns that, most likely, transcended into adulthood by causing stagnation and fears. Our ego may very well be considered our worst enemy simply because it keeps us attached to old traumas by fueling fears when thinking of the unknown; it keeps us attached to what causes us turmoil because there is a sense of comfort although painful. Hypnosis is a great way to help us reprogram our subconscious mind from negative into positive thinking.
Imagery and Hypnosis and picturing yourself the way you’d like to look and feel when in a relaxed state of mind can create a subconscious destination for our mind to move towards. This is the process of creating new behaviors.
I also found EFT (emotional freedom technique) to be very useful when dealing with stresses.
Absolutely! My Father was a Hypnotist back in the 60’s, it was very effective for many different issues. I have my Basic Certification and will eventually take the Advanced Course. In my teens I worked for a Dentist who used Hypnosis as a local Anesthetic...I was always amazed when the DDS, made the suggestion that the patients finger would numb the area being treated ( even extensive drilling). The mind is an incredible organ!!!
Absolutely!! With the proper hypnosis techniques, you are able to by pass the "critical factor" between the conscious and subconscious mind to make permanent, beneficial changes. As 85% of our actions/behaviors in any one day are controlled by our subconscious mind, being able to access the subconscious through hypnosis to change limiting beliefs, fears and phobias can have life changing beneficial effects on a person's life.
Of course! As an NLP Practitioner, I have seen the power of persuasion work not only on myself but others. We all have a little record that plays in our heads and based on beliefs and experiences, we make decisions and hold ideas for the way the world should be. Hypnosis changes the message that plays in our heads allowing for the acceptance of OTHER points of view, beliefs, and ideas. I used self-hypnosis to lost 80 lbs and quit smoking.

Yes, but your client has to believe it is possible to make their lives better or it is very difficult for them to make the change.
I am looking for a referral for a hypnotist: for my son, age 26. thank you

Absolutely! Hypnosis can be very valuable in transforming negative thought patterns and bringing out issues that block success and happiness in life.
I have never tried it
