Do you offer discounts to encourage people to come into your retail location?

Tlc Lab Supply from TLC Lab Supply shares some thoughts:

Put signs in the window offering weekly discounts, if you have  a  website put in in the window and have  discount coupons on the website to bring clients into  the store. Some are not comfortable  walking into small shops  alone, but with a website discount  in hand they have a reason to  enter the store. Offer a  Friday weekly discount on one item put  the  sign in the window that every week will be  something new on sale for just that  week

No, I do not.  All the framing is custom and designed specifically with the client.  Past “sales” did not increase my number of sales enough to balance the discounts given.

Rarely-but we extend a "courtesy" to repeat clients

A loyalty discount for repeat business generates business and when you think of the cost of getting a new customer vs a small cost for repeat business it’s a no-brainer.
