Does Anyone Have Experience Offering Financing for Your Customer Purchases at Your Business?
I'm seeking any feedback about third party vendors who finance purchases. Pros and cons would be very helpful as we are considering this option. Thank you in advance!

Pros of customer financing:
Increased sales
Capture customers on the spot
Better prices for the customer
Cons of customer financing
You might have to pay a fee for the service.
You might have to meet minimums to use the service.
It could raise your customer acquisition cost.
I hope this helps!

We use Acima no credit needed *90day no interest for 3mths w/buy out fee. We do the bulk of our financing purchases through them. They have the phone app and instore application. Our customers love this no hassle easy financing choice. We also offer 12 mths no interest with credit financing with a local financing company which works well for us as well. Both work well for our business.

We offer commercial and consumer financing to our clients and for almost every level of credit. Our finance partners are. Acima, Affirm, Kornerstone, Progressive, Klarna, PayPal, Navitas, PayTomorrow, Synchrony Home, & Snap. We have programs from 90 Days no interest and up to 48 months as well as traditional financing. We offer these programs both on our website and in store. Basically if a customer wants to purchase from us--payment is the least of our issues. If we can't get them approved with one of our vendors--nobody else can either. Then we offer layaway.
If the customer offers business to business services and need working capital without applying for a loan. I can help them with purchase orders financing or Cash for Invoices.
We Offer Synchrony and it offers the customer up to 36 months financing with no interest! It has helped our sales quite a bit! There is one down side, Synchrony charges our business a 13% surcharge that gets taken out of the employees pay check...So as an employee I wont offer 36 Months SAC but I will offer 18 Months SAC (7.8% surcharge) and they run specials every couple of months that help get the fee down. I would definitely look at them for a financing company.
On the flip side, one potential downside is that it does extend the payment period, so you might need to be patient when it comes to receiving the full amount. However, they handle all the accounts and collections, which takes a lot of the admin burden off our shoulders. Overall, it’s been a great way to make our services more accessible to our clients. Happy to chat more if you have any specific questions!
You should definitely contact Ryan Mauch from J. Galt. He will surprise you with the depth and extent of his knowledge and ability to help your business.
