Hi Jon, unfortunately your business information is pubic information. So where ever you are listed (including your trucks) you may receive B2B calls. This is not always a bad thing. Local businesses may have something new to offer your business that you have not thought about. Be patient, they are marketing just as you are trying to market your business.

Perhaps train your reception to gather more info on those calls to decide whether or not you want to pursue follow up. Or I suggest adding an Auto Attendant along with Caller ID to allow you decide if you want to pick up the call or not. Hope this helps!

This is a nationwide problem that everyone is experiencing. Wish I had a answer but don't.

Have an Auto attendant answer your calls this will cut down telemarkers

Go to donotcall.gov & register your number there. If you get calls after that you can file a complaint there & the soliciting company can & will be fined.

We solve this for our clients by utilizing a well programmed Auto Attendant.  This gives legitimate callers a professional greeting and eliminates robocalls.

you can block unwanted "inbound" numbers at the Auto Attendant level, user level or before it hits the Auto Attendant; IF your system has this functionality.

Post the unwanted callers' phone numbers into your equipment to block their calls.

The current best solution for a business has been mentioned, IVR or and Auto Attendant. A well designed and structured auto attendant will virtually eliminate any and all of the robocalls.

We have been pushing our customers that have this issue to sway to the auto attendant solution and have seen major success.

First, make sure all your lines are on do it all.gov. This will stop domestic callers. Out of country is another issue....Your carrier may offer a solution.  They can detect spoofed and fake Caller IDs, and block those calls. It is available on most from most cellular and local carriers, albeit at a cost

Jon- thats me calling! I'm trying ta talk to Ya! Honestly there isnt much you can do. If your main line is in published directories you might start there by removing them.
