How are you building business relationships in Souderton?

Eric Boynton from Clay Rat Studio shares some thoughts:

No one wants to merely be a slave to the dollar. A robot purchaser. A pusher of greenbacks. They want an experience or at the minimum to have a connection to the maker or service.

We are the new kids in town but networking with other business people and doing & supporting other local business builds community and support.  Think about participating in BIS forums and/or 3rd Friday's as a good start.  You'll find in this community we support each other so that we all can thrive.

Unfortunately, my office is in center city Philadelphia and I do not make it up to Souderton too often.  However, when I meet a business owner that is looking for banking solutions, I tell them that Univest can provide all of the services of a larger bank but while maintaining the community bank feel.  You get a person, not an 800 number.  You can pick up the phone and have someone you know and trust answer your questions or solve your problem.

I have been a member of the Souderton-Telford Rotary for over 30 years. This group of businesspeople support local projects for those who live and work in the area as well as supporting each other’s businesses.

The advantage to being in a small town is that we don't have to 'work at' creating a small town friendly environment. We already have it and it is natural to do business with that mindset. It is so important to be a part of the community and to build relationships with everyone we deal with!
