hi TJ -- it seems as though you are well along with this venture, but I always send start-up and early stage folks initially to the various angel investor forums that happen in many locales, often industry-themed.  For the next level of funding, health plans and hospital systems often have venture-investment groups, and there are any number of health-tech focused venture funds.  Good luck.  jso

Hi TJ,

Try https://angel.co

Not sure if you need a connection first - if so let me know!

How do I use AngelList to raise money?

First, fill in all of the sections of your startup profile with concise, compelling information. Browse around AngelList to find good profiles and learn from them.

Make sure you add all of your founders, employees, advisors, investors and so on. Your team members' followers get a feed update whenever a team member confirms a role.

Make sure you add the $ amounts for all investors in your current round. $ amounts for specific investors are displayed only to the startup's contact person and that individual investor.

Second, be proactive. Use search filters to find investors tagged with your startup's markets, in your location and that have invested in companies similar to yours. Use AngelList like a social network; follow people and companies, comment on posts and like others' updates.

Have you considered reaching out to non traditional or "eastern medicine" groups like those who practice functional medicine, NAET, EFT / tapping, neuropathy, or  acupuncture?

I would seek out a broker in your area.  You can search www.ibba.org (International Business Brokers Association.

I'm helping some investors right now and found an amazing facebook group for Doctors and Healthcare professionals that want to learn investing, you might want to reach out to Dr. Eric Tait.  https://passiveincomemd.com/er...

TJ:

There are endless healthcare investors.  Most that I have used in the past center around the real estate aspect of the investment; REITS, etc.  they are designed to fund the purchase of healthcare real estate, put significant capital into the building(s) and then lease it back to you based on the combined purchase price and additional capital expenditures amortized over a long period so that the lease payment to are manageable.  Typically when people work with REITS, they look to refinance s few years later.  What specifically are you looking for.  I may be able to point you in the right direction.  Of course there are many other ways to access healthcare investment capital but I worked with traditional banks, institutional lenders (like Capital source) and the REITS.  I don’t know if this helps you or not.  If you need additional information, I can find you a few possible contacts.

Best,
