It will take at least a year for my business to “come back” to the level it was before this mistaken fiasco of a shut down. Unnecessary fear will keep some from getting back to work and associating with their neighbors for a long time. I’ll keep moving on and providing the service to those smart enough to see through this created horror and continue to service those with a brain and the need to look pressed as they march on!!
People need more guidance now, or maybe they have just become aware that they need it. I have taken the time at home to work on the administrative things I really needed to get done including training my staff. I am in a better position now to be a better leader, take on more work and provide better results for my clients. I see no shortage of people who want to make things work and we are working together to do so.
Though my business took a nosedive in 2020, the virus gave me time to re-consider and re-design some educational programs that I was originally going to launch in March 2020. I am more confident now about the programs, and am looking forward to a really good 2021.
Well, I shifted directions inside my business and due to that shifted my business wasn't affected by the Coronavirus. I'm in the tax preparation industry for the last 19 years and 13 years as a business owner. I now create my own digital informational products online. I now specialize in assisting individuals who are looking to start their own income tax service and also assist individuals who looking to start a business in general. Far as tax preparation services go I'm focusing on self-employed and small business owners and I also teach a basic income tax course locally but now I'm working on an online version for my students and potential students based on teaching it through a tax software I've been using for at least 10 years. So now I can make more income and spend less time in doing so through digital educational information and I'm also in the retail space so thanks to my creativity and desire to accomplish my dreams and goals. I'm halfway there on my journey thanks to mentorship and coaching thanks Steph Perez. Plenty much success to you all on this awesome platform!!
Our shop deals in pottery supplies. As a result of not being able to go to Denver for supplies we picked up a whole new crop of customers that discovered we were in their backyard with just as large a selection without half the problems of getting to Denver. As an added benefit we have lower sales taxes and discounts for military and first responders.
I lost my retail office at the end of January 2020. I now am working from my home office virtually or by phone so no longer pay rent or covered parking. I'll meet my clients and prospects face to face when Businesses start opening up more and allow people back into their offices and homes. For now it will be on the phone or social media options. I can still help them with their Business Needs and Insurance needs. Check out our updated website at: https://EmergencyBusinessRelief.com/112791.
When you are in a business like I have we were not bothered with Coronavirus. I have a home business in the health and wellness business. people buy directly from the company from my site. Have zoom meetings, talk on phone and messenger. Asking Would anyone on my friend's list be willing to take a 4-5 minute health survey?
My business is doing very well! I wanted to leave the graphic design world and dedicate my time to expanding my personal artwork biz, but clients keep hunting me down for graphics. When the pandemic hit and hours were cut at my full-time job, I decided to take on as much graphic design work as possible just in case. That move proved to be very lucrative and now I'm swamped for a few months. The other thing that happened was that my full-time job also got a boost of screen printing orders and now we are busy there as well. So, yes. We are doing well during the pandemic and it looks like we'll be doing well afterward.
The pandemic, unlike many people, has been a blessing for me. I had already decided to do my business only via Zoom. I was allowing some locals so come to my place or going to their place if they really didn’t want the Zoom option. Now, it’s the only option available. I have been able to connect with so many different and interesting people from around the world via Zoom. Which was one of my goals down the road. Now, the distance is not an issue anymore as everyone has learned to use zoom or meetup!
Alignable is joining in and will have its own video platform in the coming month or so! How exciting is that!
I have learned to look, listen and hear for the possibilities which are endless especially if you allow them in with ease and flow.
Thru streamlining our processes, evaluation of all relationships with vendors, we are coming out a stronger company.
