I am curious if restaurant operators have used Restaurant365 or KitchenSync. Any feedback?

Margot,  I am sorry but I cannot answer your question as I have not knowledge of what systems local restaurant owners may be using.  I would suggest you reach out to your local restaurant association as they may be able to offer some insight into your question.

Margin Edge is AMAZING. Restaurant 365 is expensive and hard to set up.

If you take the time to set Margin Edge up completely and get all your recipes in there it is an amazing tool. You’ll need to link your POS and stay consistent with uploading your invoices. I can’t stress enough that you need to take the time to get it set up correctly.

One the coolest thing I’ve seen while logging into one of my restaurant client’s Margin Edge was a huge red warning that their chicken price had increased x% from the week prior.

Please feel free to message me if you have additional Margin Edge questions. We work with several restaurants that use this software and we are actively setting this up for more of our restaurant clients because it’s such a powerful tool.

No Corporate gives us all our systems to use

Apologies, I am unfamiliar with both.

sorry friend, unfamiliar with either

Thanks so much for all the feedback folks! I've done restaurant financials & bookkeeping but am curious to see how these newer platforms work in practice. I think there is a huge opportunity for restaurant operators to automate/digitize the basic bookkeeping to free up your managers to focus on the real challenges of operations.
