Yes, we went virtual last year, but we're back to an in-person stroll this year. Should be better.

Let me see if I can get enough retailers to join in, so we can host one.

I'm not in retail, but I'll plan to attend one nearby and show my support.

It is very beneficial to one's health to walk daily. This is critical for seniors.
It would be nice to know, in replies to this comment, when does your Town celebrate the Holiday Stroll? (If you read the rest of this post you'll know why I ask this.)
The Holiday Stroll in Woodbridge, NJ, downtown is organized by the Town's Rec Dept. They do a great job in getting Santa & Mrs. Claus to down, organizing a range entertainment programs and getting the Mayor to switch on the Holiday Lights downtown. There is music on the street, a horse & buggy ride for kids and even an ice skating rink.
The Stroll is held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. That is on the Small Business Saturday.
Residents love the Stroll, the businesses not so much. They don't like the street being closed. Some say that it is like Small Business Saturday without any consideration for the businesses.
It is a complicated matter with multiple schools of thought on the topic. Maybe the Stroll needs co-ownership by the Business Admin Department too. Or, maybe, the Stroll may work better on a day that is not Small Business Saturday. Or maybe the businesses need to innovate and find ways to capitalize on the crowd that turns up.
Sitting out in the cold really does not appeal to me. I might participate in a holiday market if it were in an indoor venue and it would not cost more than I could possibly hope to make to have Booth space.
I've never attended one but I will be glad to
A great way to connect with businesses and people in your city.
I support, attend and am part of the celebration every year!
I am not aware of any in my neighbourhood
I’d love to take part👍🏻
It’s a great way for the community nitty to meet and patronize local business
