Hello. I think if you’re newly established it make sense to Network, network and network some more!! Are there any trade organizations that have businesses looking for your services? Find a way to be involved or check out their events.
Also, as a way of keeping your Initial expenses low, i think it’s important to seek out very reliable vendor relationships. CWPA Office Supplies & Services is actually a single-source provider for all office-related supplies, equipment and furniture and we are local. We also carry a complete range of safety items and maintenance products. I’d really like to see how I could help you reduce these expenses. My email is [email address].
Respond as promptly as possible to inquiries. Let people know what types of services you offer & what your accreditation is. Let them know if you charge for estimates, what your days/hours of operation are and provide all contact information: business address, location, full phone number, if providing a cell number, is it OK to Text, email address and website (if you have one) or how to find you on Social Media.
This question is too vague... I would believe you get your first customer near you and start knocking doors around your industrial area. Don't loose a customer for any reason.
To be competitive and successful both with external and internal clients, trust. Trust creates a trusting g environment that will make a significant difference in the marketplace.
Whether it be heavy equipment sales or food items, whatever the product is I would want to Market and advertise right next to the competition. Although it may be difficult to compete with them on price as they are already established you can certainly compete with them on providing more personalized and prompt service. Make yourself available to the client and let them know that you are. As in any business starting out you must be prepared to sacrifice the majority of your time to it. Even though your business hours may be 9 To 5,....owning and operating a business is not.
I like Mel Mackey’s and Iris Printz’s responses. From my point of view as a Ph.D. doctor, and been in the marine pipeline industry in the 70’s, pain management is my area of expertise so to speak. In your field and profession pain is synonymous. Downtimes can be challenging in that area. I can offer protocols to pain, I believe you can reduce your downtime. In the oil industry on the ocean, I have seen injuries and downtimes. If I can help great. Thank you!
As far as fork lifting goes, unfortunately i don't possess much knowledge with that particular equipment. Being a new company is not easy, its very time consuming and requires a lot of self motivation and drive. If you want to be successful, you need to put in just as much as you would like to receive, always always, provide excellent customer service but do not allow customers to bully you or mistake your kindness for weakness. Work hard, and enjoy it!!!
