Although the pandemic has increased revenue for our company, as a Real Estate professional for over 20+ years, it concerns me on level of greed being orchestrated by other RE professionals, who are encouraging gouging listing prices.  There appears to be no sense of integrity and consideration for the importance of appraisals. This type of practice is damaging the very core of what was once an accomplished and enjoyable experience of traditional home ownership.  I'm utterly appalled and frankly embarrassed working alongside these newbie & veteran Real Estate "unprofessionals" pushing their seller clients to gravely mistreat " ready, able & willing" buyers who are the core of the entire transaction! The buyers are being compelled to offer way more than the homes may be worth while receiving little to no courtesy concessions from sellers. Well I'm here to tell you all, what comes around will go around. Just as these sellers are selling, remember they too will become buyers! See you on the other side  my friends!

We need to keep the values of homes in the apprassed value. Not have people and realtors throwing the appraisal value at what it is. Not let these situations that are happening now with people paying these prices that way way over the value of the house throws our ability that work with people who can buy a house if it is the right amount of the house right out of the ability to buy a home. And if things keep going the way they are my fear is the real estate business will crash again like in 2008 and we won't be able to sell or buy.anything.  So my my business will be non existent. I don't know how we could make this up climb in the home prices that is going way out of the realm of most people not able to buy. Or even a person who could maybe buy a new construction home the prices need to be extremely higher than needed to be because of the prices of building materials.  My other half is a builder and in order for him to make any money on a home he is building needs to be so so much more than it should be because of the building materials have tripled since this covid. It seems that these companies are price gouging and taking advantage of people trying to complete there business or a home owner just needing to fix something on the home they already own. They can't afford it alot of the time. So I think we need something put in place that even if someone wants to pay over the appraisal amount it should not be allowed because it is throwing everything else off the mark and making it impossible for all people to have the ability to buy a home too. And the builders shouldn't have to over charge people for a home they built because of the amount of money that they need to put out now for a new home is tripled the amount than it was just a year ago.

We are looking to expand and start hiring  soon.

I am starting to have classes and individual clients again.

We have business coming in. Our obstacles are the caregivers are still able to get unemployment and would rather stay home then work. There is also no way to prove if they are claiming unemployment and still accepting cases but not claiming them.
the stimulus money hit us hard as well. It is extremely difficult to get anyone to work. It isn’t just us having that issue. Most private duty companies are having the same problem. Add onto that, pre pandemic, we could offer a 2 or 3 hour minimum. We can’t now. Our aides will not take a case for less then 4 hours a day at least 3-4 days a week.
Another issue we are running into is clients are requiring caregivers to be vaccinated. We can’t make them. It’s their choice. The caregivers in the facilities aren’t all vaccinated. We have a handful, but more are un vaccinated then vaccinated.
The rehabs that we have clients in are requesting ridiculous requests as well. Even if the aides are vaccinated, they have to get a PCR test to show they are COVID free, even though no visitors, or family members have to show anything. It’s really getting tough with their different policies.

I help people learn to activate their bodies for a healthier life.  My online global business never closed, but we saw growth because people gained the understanding that their health is their personal responsibility.

We were very busy upon re opening and are hoping the momentum continues throughout the rest of the year!

My business was not negatively impacted by Covid-19.  We just used safeguards, took precautions, and had clients and customers take surveys and fill out affidavits about their potentially being exposed to Covid-19, or not, traveling, feeling ill, having a fever, etc., etc.. My business and industry dis very well during Covid-19.  Nothing stopped or slowed down at all.

We are a small resort motel (9 units and a duplex).  Most of our business has been repeat guests from year to year.  This past year has shown more and more people wanting to get out of the house and enjoy the beaches.  A lot of new customers, as our regular customer base is from the Northeast where lockdowns and pandemic concerns have still been in place.  Some of our base customers will be  coming back in the Fall.  We have been blessed with good weather and a lot of local interest in our resort.   The weather has steared our business and still does with the threat of red tide and the hurricane forecasts.   Located right on the Gulf of Mexico has its downsides which we haven't had to deal with yet, but that may change very quickly.

I'm an artist. Covid shut down all galleries and for awhile all commissions in progress. Business went from flourishing and barely keeping up to nothing but on line exhibitions with no sales. Slowly galleries are opening, commissions returned last November and are flourishing. Still no gallery sales. Many of the exhibits I was slated for are still delayed. Example- an exhibition in Taipai changed twice and is now moved to at least late 2022 and probably 2023. It was supposed to be this September. A show in Brooklyn delayed a year. Etc. Opportunities to have work on line expanding hugely but no sales coming from online. Art placement firms have saved me. Did a big project the Children's Hospital Boston. Thank goodness for that project.
