We are down 15% in sales from last year. Materials are still tight in certain sectors with expensive prices & delays in receiving them. Skilled laborers at a reasonable wage are difficult to find and we are now seeing "slow pay" customers affecting our cash flow. New construction jobs are being held up because high interest loans are keeping people from investing. Overhead costs including cost of permits & fees rose, as did insurance policies from general to worker's comp to healthcare which amounted to 10-14% even with a low experience mod & no major issues or claims. I don't see anything in the near term being done to change the current state.

We are having a good year. Still some issues on getting certain materials. Prices have gone up for most supplies.  Many issues I see are too much government intervention in Business, Education and not taking care of streets, sewers ( and other infrastructure).

Actually, my business isn't suffering during this "supposed" inflation.  Tax preparation is what almost all working Americans MUST do and the majority of Americans seek this service from professionals.  I am one of those professionals.

Good morning: How is my industry these days?

I believe, well no, it is a fact,  that the most affected population by this terrible inflation of latest year/s are the Elderly. Senior Citizens cannot get any  money increase as other industries.  And costs are getting up by the minute.  The rental and  living expenses s are beyond affordable.  The industry of care, like us have to make an effort to keep costs down and accept what Residents can pay.    In Europe this is not a problem.  Seniors are cared for if they have,  or don't  have the means.   In our rich  country, the very  famous   USA,  these seniors have accept and resignate them selves  to almost the basic of the basics: sharing rooms with other sometime raudy  individuals, be under the care in  understaffed facilities.  Where is the justice system in this  GREAT COUNTRY OF OURS!

Who will assist you, me, when our time comes to be in a corner between two walls, in a uncomfortable wheel chair watching an old television program.

If nothing gets changed in these matters, I am taking the ship to the Old Country.

Congratulations! As a Walden University Alumni and a business woman, I want to play it forward and provide scholars with a PLC and your own professional publication to share on my Dissertation1 Google Play Store App ▶️ at https://dissertation1.com/ for social change.

Clients cash flow is very tight due to inflation and general economic conditions and that's affecting my cash flow as well.

We are in the Senior Adult Care Business. It's very "need" driven. People are aging and reaching the necessity for care and additional watchful oversight every day. We are successful, have not seen a change due to outside economic changes. Thank you!
