For those in the wedding industry, what are you doing to get people to rebook your services for next year?
Because this year's wedding season was so affected by the pandemic, how are you encouraging your clients to book services for next year's season or beyond? What tactics are working for you?

Simply giving the best price possible with payment options.
I allow budget changes up until four weeks before wedding date when flower order is placed.
Encouarge couples to get their dream flowers for bouquets which appear in all photos and make budget cuts in table arrangements and decor.
Suggest reusing ceremony flowers for reception to save dollars. Always be honest and caring!!
Praying helps! You may have to bight the bullet while we’re dealing with the virus. My son’s was supposed to be December. Groups of certain sizes may have to be trimmed to the A list only. What do you do when the groom is the youngest of 10 siblings to get married? Immediate family alone goes over limit.
This too shall pass. I just hope we can keep up with the surge when this is over.
Most of them had nonrefundable deposits so the deposit was just moved to the new date. We had only one cancellation and due to the pandemic we refunded the deposit.
Most of our clients are moving their wedding dates to 2021 a few have had legal civil services this year and having the reception/ vow renewal next year.
We accommodated all new dates for next year At no additional cost to the client.
It has been hard picking up new clients, We are currently offering micro weddings with full service packages, for folks not wanting to wait for the pandemic to be over.
Of the couples that have decided to move their wedding to next year, we are moving their deposit to the new date and helping them reschedule all their vendors. We have been fortunate that couples are checking with our availability first before choosing a new date. As soon as Covid hit, we sent out a blog we wrote to our clients with the steps needed to reschedule their wedding and another blog on how to run a wedding with Covid restrictions so that may have helped. We had two cancel, but all the rest are going ahead with their weddings - some with a smaller guest list - or they have pushed to next year if relatives couldn't fly here or they no longer fit in the venue due to Covid guest number restrictions.
Since we are so involved in our clients honeymoons & weddingmoons (destination weddings), most all of our clients received additional benefits to rebook their trip/wedding with the same providers, earning up to an additional 25% in funds! We've stayed on top and remain available to our clients almost any hour of the day or night, since normal business hours are now a thing of the past. Also, for new bookings, we have up to the minute details on destinations & operators (air, land & cruise) to help in the planning of new honeymoons & weddingmoons.

I am assuming your question means - a client who has booked you for the 2020 year, and needs to cancel due to venue restrictions or state restrictions.
Our company did nothing new to address the pandemic issue. The few clients of ours who were affected this year, simply changed their date with the venue, then signed a contract amendment form with us. Thankfully, it just so happens that for their new dates, we were not yet booked.
