What Are Your New Year's Resolutions & Do You Usually Stick With Them?

Last week, we posted a question about 2024 New Year's Resolutions in the Ask SMB Owners Anything Group. Here are just a few of the great responses summarized/combined here, plus others I thought would keep the conversation going.

Tell us what you think of them, add some of your own, and then admit to us -- how often do you actually stick with your New Year's Resolutions?

(It's okay, statistically, very few people stick with them, but it's still a good exercise to make them -- and try to set them into motion for at least a few weeks).

1. Ask For Help More Often

2. Spend An Extra 15 Minutes A Week Posting Advice In Groups

3. Finally Figure Out A Better Balance Between Work And Recreation

4. Turn That Side Hustle You Love Into A Full-Fledged Business

5. Hire An Expert In Your Network Who Will Take Over Something You Don't Enjoy

6. Worry Less, Try Out New Solutions More Often

7. Don't Set Resolutions -- Instead, Create Achievable Goals

Okay, please weigh in and share your resolutions, too!

My resolution is to complete another 6 more T2's by March 1 - when my tax season starts.  It is going to happen too.  Happy new year.

Identify current negotiation points for my client specific for their market.

Don't believe in winter resolutions; may make some at the time of the spring equinox.

Please make me a commitment!

Update my Broker.

With this update 2024 will be a great year.

Thank you
